In Central Asia, a wedding is a main occasion that reflects the city’s wandering record. Although some conventions were outlawed during the 60 to 70 centuries of Soviet/russian principle, marriage continues to be a considerable encounter. This is largely because of the fact that the households in this region are typically massive, and each has its own special practices.

In the past, a pair would spend time with their families before arranging their marriage. The marriage was usually held in autumn or late summer, when the weather is cooler and inexpensive food is available. The bride’s community may prepare a great feast and her female cousins would give her gifts. In some regions the couple’s relatives would pay a dowry to the bride’s home, which could include horses, cattle, money, embroidery or clothing.

The potential groom and his male cousins would then kidnap the woman ( in the old nomadic nights, by horseback, nowadays, by automobile). He had then get her to the residence of his parents or his household. His father and elder relatives would try to persuade the bride to put on a white shawl that signified her acceptance of the relationship, or risk pain and even death. This practise, known as ala kachuu, was outlawed during the Soviet time, but it appears to be making a return.

On the day of the ceremony, the lady would be sent with her marriage wagon to the couple’s house. She may be expected to walk it nude, and on the means she was supposed to be showered with pastries and coins. She also had to perform goodbyes melodies before she left her parental home uzbekistan women for marriage, such as the well-known Kyrgyz track Koshtasi Zhari.
